NTA Announces ACG as Their New Association Management Partner

After a six-month search process, National Tax Association (NTA) Board of Directors selected Association & Conference Group (ACG) as our new association management partner. ACG’s contract is effective as of March 1, 2025.

We thank the APPAM team (our prior association management partner) for their work on NTA’s programs and strategy over the last five years. We would particularly like to acknowledge the contributions of our outgoing Executive Director Tara Sheehan, as well as April Davis. We appreciate their collaborative efforts with ACG to ensure a smooth transition.

Founded in 2025, ACG leverages talent and technology to build robust teams across the nation, and globally. With a focus on transparency and best-in-class service, ACG provides strategic and innovative solutions resulting in deep, long-lasting relationships.

Megan Parsons, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in nonprofit management, hospitality, sales, and event planning, will serve NTA as its Executive Director, providing strategic leadership and overseeing communications and marketing. Among other things, Megan works closely with ASHEcon, an organization that is similar in many respects to NTA. The ACG team supporting NTA also includes Francesca Cosmi (committee management), Nick Evangelista (marketing and communications), Bishara Rahman (coordinator), and Joanne Hampton (bookkeeper).
