It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Kleinbard on June 28, 2020. A longtime member of NTA, Edward was the former chief of staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation and most recently the Robert C. Packard Trustee Chair in Law at the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law.
With deep sadness, the National Tax Association mourns the passing of Ranjana Madhusudhan on April 27, 2020. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Ranjana served as President of the NTA from 2007 to 2008, following her year as First Vice President.
Pamela H. Moomau
It is with deep sadness that we announce that Pamela H. Moomau, a beloved member of the NTA family, and staff member of the Joint Committee on Taxation passed away in April 2019. Pam was an active member of NTA, a member of the Board of Directors, and a frequent contributor to the National Tax Journal and participant in NTA conferences.
Ralph A. Gerra
We are saddened to announce the passing of Ralph A. Gerra on March 6, 2018. Ralph served as President (1977-1978) and Director of the National Tax Association.

A longtime member of NTA, Harry was one of the world’s foremost experts in the area of international taxation.
