We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and knowledgeable about current federal and state tax laws. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, providing tax advice, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Job Description:    
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and review individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
-Conduct tax research and stay up to date with current tax laws and changes
-Identify potential tax credits, deductions, and adjustments to optimize client refunds or minimize liabilities
-Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify tax-related questions
-Represent clients before the IRS or state tax authorities (if Enrolled Agent)
-Assist with tax planning and year-round advisory services
-Maintain accurate and organized client records

Qualifications:
-Required: Minimum of [2–5] years of professional tax preparation experience
-Preferred: Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation or CPA
-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes
-Experience with tax preparation software (Proconnect)
-Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
