Arete Financial & Legal Solutions is seeking an Enrolled Agent (EA) and/or Tax Preparer to join our dynamic and fast-growing tax department. We provide Tax, Accounting, Legal, and Financial Planning services, allowing our team members to make a meaningful impact on clients throughout every stage of life.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service while helping clients navigate complex tax matters.

Compensation & Job Classification

Entry-Level Tax Preparer / Data Entry (Hourly): Starts at $30.00 / hour
Enrolled Agent / Credentialed Preparer (Hourly): Starts at $40.00 / hour
Mid-to-Senior Tax Professionals (Salaried Track): up to $130,000 / year

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review all business, individual, and/or estate and trust tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and remain current on federal and state tax law changes
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and answer tax-related questions
• Assist with proactive tax planning and year-round advisory services
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance standards are upheld
• Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities

Qualifications

• Required: Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) and/or CPA designation preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent communication and client service skills
