54th Annual Spring Symposium

 May 9-10, 2024
Georgetown University, McCourt School of Public Policy, Capitol Hill Campus, Washington, D.C.

The symposium will feature paper sessions and panels that will address the role of AI in tax policy and administration, long-run revenue raising alternatives, taxation in the digital age with cryptocurrencies and platform gig work, housing affordability and the role of property taxation, lessons from recent business tax changes, and implications of ongoing Supreme Court cases for taxation in the United States. We look forward to seeing you in person and hearing your thoughts on these important issues.

Note: The Symposium will take place at the McCourt School of Public Policy’s new facility on Capitol Hill.  The physical address is 125 E St. NW, Washington, DC.

When looking for hotels near the new McCourt School, we suggest you use the physical address above as your search starting point. Two hotels that are near the McCourt School, Capitol Hill Campus are the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill and the Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill.  Please note that there are no negotiated discounted rates with either hotel.
