The 56^th Annual Spring Symposium will be held May 7-8, 2026 at the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy at the Capitol Hill Campus, in Washington, DC.

The National Tax Association (NTA) invites you and your organization to partner with us as a sponsor of our 2026 Spring Symposium. The NTA is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan, nonpolitical educational association committed to fostering research and discussion on taxation and public finance. We are now preparing for our 56th Annual Spring Symposium, which will take place on May 7-8, 2026, at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy at the Capitol Hill Campus in Washington, DC. We anticipate drawing over 250 top academics, policymakers, and practitioners in the field.

This year’s Symposium theme, “Taxes in 2026 and Beyond: The Same as They Ever Were?” promises an exceptional program organized by Fitzroy Lee (Office of the Chief Financial Officer, District of Columbia), Dayanand Manoli (Georgetown University) and Joseph Rosenberg (Urban Institute). Sessions and panels will cover key issues such as the extension of the TCJA, international taxation, trade policy, anti-poverty programs, fiscal sustainability, the future of the IRS, environmental taxation, and federal-state fiscal relations.
