The NTA is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan, nonpolitical educational association committed to fostering research and discussion on taxation and public finance. We are now preparing for our 56th Annual Spring Symposium, which will take place on May 7-8, 2026, at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy at the Capitol Hill Campus in Washington, DC. We anticipate drawing over 250 top academics, policymakers, and practitioners in the field.

The 119th Annual Conference on Taxation will cover a broad range of topics in tax policy and public finance. The conference will feature presentations and discussions from the fields of accounting, economics, law, and public policy and administration, as well as research from other fields that bears on these topics.
